By accessing or using Hook Reports ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App.
3. User Accounts and Security

4. User-Generated Content and Moderation
- By posting fishing reports, discussions, media content, or any other materials ("User Content"), you grant Hook Reports a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content within the App and on the website.
- You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any User Content.
- We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate.
- Users may report inappropriate content through the provided reporting tools, and we will take appropriate action, which may include content removal or account suspension.
-We have a zero tolerance policy on objectionable content.
- Compensation for User Content: If you are a content creator eligible to receive payments through the Hook Reports platform, you acknowledge that payments are based on a proprietary algorithm that considers various engagement and performance metrics. Hook Reports reserves the right to modify the payment model at any time, including the criteria, methodology, or frequency of payouts. Such changes will be communicated in advance and will not apply retroactively.
5. Prohibited Conduct
When using the App, you agree **NOT** to:
- Post or share content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights.
- Use the App for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the App’s operation.
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
6. Privacy and Data Collection

7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
8. Liability Disclaimer for User-Generated Content
- Hook Reports is a social media platform that allows users to post fishing reports, discussions, and media content. We do not pre-screen or actively monitor all user-generated content.
- Users acknowledge that they may encounter content that is offensive, inappropriate, or objectionable.
- We are not responsible for any harm, emotional distress, or damages resulting from exposure to user-generated content.
- If you believe content violates our guidelines, you should report it immediately using the in-app reporting tools.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- HOOK REPORTS, ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
- IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU, IF ANY, TO USE THE APP.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hook Reports, its developers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
11. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in behavior that could harm the App or other users.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13. Paid Subscriptions
- Hook Reports offers subscription-based access to certain features, including premium content and the ability to support individual creators. Subscription pricing and benefits are clearly listed within the App.
- Your subscription will be billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device, and will automatically renew unless you cancel it before the end of the current billing period.
- You are responsible for managing and canceling your subscription through the respective app store. Deleting your account or the App does not automatically cancel your subscription.
- Hook Reports reserves the right to change subscription prices or features at any time. In the event of a price increase, you will be notified in advance and given the opportunity to cancel your subscription.
- Refunds for subscription payments are subject to the policies of the platform (Apple or Google) through which the payment was processed.
14. Independent Relationship of Content Creators
Content creators who receive payments from Hook Reports are considered independent users of the platform and are not employees, contractors, or agents of Hook Reports. Hook Reports acts solely as a facilitator for the distribution of funds based on user interaction and platform engagement. Creators are solely responsible for any tax obligations related to the payments they receive.
